Hit up the DC botanical gardens over the long weekend -- the orchid display is really impressive. Evidently there was a water main break close to the Smithsonian Museums -- water was rolling down the street for blocks.

Used a really large aperture for these shots -- I liked the shallow depth on the flowers.
