Tried to get a bit Ansel Adams-y this weekend at a national park about 20 minutes from my apartment. Great Falls National Park, in Mclean, Virginia, to be exact. I think this is one of those images that looks much more magnificent in print form, because you can really see all of the details. Still, I'm pretty charmed by this attempt. There's a bunch more in my photostream -- you can see the various times of day I tried to use.
