As I mentioned in the previous post, this past weekend's power outage reduced me to candlelight and novels, a fate that would have been entirely acceptable if air conditioning could have remained as well. The pitch black environs and the reflections of a glass coffee table caught my eye, so if nothing else you can see Sunday night as I saw it -- flickers of light and the aroma of scented wax.
